Seekwell is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform (the "platform," "Service," or "Seekwell Ministry") owned and operated by JBC Works LLC, doing business as Seekwell Ministry ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, registering an organization, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms use a few role-based terms to describe how people interact with an organization's account. A single individual may hold more than one of these roles within an organization, and may hold different roles across different organizations.
Where these Terms describe a specific feature by name — such as Front Door, Prayer Wall, or Event Check-In — that name refers to functionality we currently offer under that branding. If we rename, redesign, or replace a feature, or introduce a new feature that serves a similar purpose, these Terms apply equally to that feature going forward.
Seekwell is purpose-built for Christian churches and ministry organizations. By registering an organization, you represent that it is a bona fide church or ministry, and you agree to use the Service consistent with that purpose.
The Service is designed for organizations based in the United States and its territories. Account holders and staff may access and use the Service while traveling abroad, but Seekwell is not designed, tested, or supported for organizations located outside the United States and its territories.
An organization on Seekwell represents a single physical church or ministry campus. Ministry partners serving on mission or living abroad are welcome to use the Service, provided the organization itself is based from one physical address in the United States or its territories.
Churches that operate multiple campuses — a main campus alongside one or more satellite locations — are expected to register and maintain a separate organization account for each physical campus rather than combining them into one. This keeps each organization's size manageable and its communications reliable: folding a large, multi-campus network of many thousands of people into a single account significantly increases the risk that legitimate announcements get flagged as spam by email and messaging providers, which degrades the Service for that organization and for others.
Access to the platform dashboard is managed through your organization's Org Admin(s), who are responsible for inviting staff and members and for the accuracy of the information entered about their organization and its people. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
To confirm eligibility and protect the integrity of the Service, we verify the contact information provided at signup, including an organization's physical location — this typically takes place within a few business days of account creation. If our team has questions or concerns during this process, we will make a good-faith effort to reach out to your Org Admin directly. If we are unable to verify an organization's information, or are unable to reach the Org Admin after reasonable attempts, we may suspend the account until the matter is resolved.
Maintaining a reliable Service depends on account holders following this one-campus-per- organization structure. Organizations that do not comply — for example, by consolidating multiple physical campuses under a single account — may be asked to reorganize into separate accounts and are subject to suspension or termination as described in Section 13.
The Seekwell platform dashboard is intended for use by adults — staff, members, and volunteers — acting on behalf of a church or ministry organization. Org Admins should not grant platform dashboard login access to anyone under the age of 13.
Some features, however — such as Front Door and Prayer Wall — are public-facing and embedded by an organization on its own website, and may be used by website visitors — including minors — without creating an account. Organizations are solely responsible for supervising and moderating content submitted through these features, consistent with their own child-safety and pastoral-care policies. If we learn that a child under 13 has been given platform dashboard login credentials, we will work with the organization's Org Admin to remove that access.
Paid subscription plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring monthly or annual basis as selected at signup. Some plans include a free trial period; you will not be charged until the trial ends unless otherwise disclosed at signup.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing, and your organization retains access to the Service through the end of the current paid billing period. We do not offer refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or early cancellation.
If Seekwell facilitates online giving on your organization's behalf through our Stripe Connect integration, a platform fee is retained from each donation before the remaining funds are transferred to your organization's connected Stripe account, in addition to Stripe's own standard payment processing fees. Current platform fee rates are disclosed when you connect your Stripe account, and we may adjust them from time to time as described in Section 21. Your organization's use of Stripe Connect is also subject to Stripe's own Services Agreement — see Section 17 for more on our third-party providers.
You agree to use Seekwell only for lawful purposes consistent with its intended use as a church ministry platform. Without limiting the above, you may not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account or organization, at our discretion and without prior notice, for violating these Terms — including misuse of messaging and notification features.
Front Door is an embeddable chat widget that connects website visitors with church personnel. Messages are categorized and routed using Seekwell's classification technology, and conversations may be handled by church staff or volunteers via Telegram. Organizations are responsible for how their personnel respond to and handle visitor conversations.
Front Door visitor conversations, interactive routing, and volunteer responder commands take place through Telegram (or other supported Seekwell client applications) and do not use SMS text messaging. Any SMS messaging Seekwell offers is a separate notification channel described in Section 24.
Prayer Wall allows an organization's staff, members, and — where the organization enables it — website guests to submit prayer requests, which are visible to other people within that organization and can be marked anonymous. Prayer request content is often personal and sensitive by nature, and submitters are responsible for what they choose to share.
Organizations are solely responsible for moderating Prayer Wall content, including reviewing and removing reported submissions, and for responding appropriately to any submission that suggests a person may be in crisis or at risk of harm. Seekwell provides moderation tools — including reporting, restoring, and permanent deletion — but does not monitor Prayer Wall content in real time and is not responsible for how organizations, staff, or members use, respond to, or fail to respond to submitted prayer requests.
Event Check-In allows an organization to record attendance at its events and check people in through the platform dashboard or Telegram. Seekwell sends check-in confirmations, shift reminders, and related notifications by Telegram and/or email on the organization's behalf. Organizations are responsible for how they collect and use attendance data through this feature.
Certain features of the Service (such as Prayer Wall, Front Door, and Event Check-In) allow people to submit content and information directly to the Service ("User Content"). You agree not to submit User Content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or obscene, or that infringes another person's or organization's rights — including posting copyrighted media, publications, or other third-party material you don't have permission to share. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to post whatever you submit; see Section 19 for how to report content you believe infringes your copyright.
Organizations are responsible for moderating User Content submitted to their account, and may use the reporting, restoring, anonymizing, and deletion tools available in the dashboard to do so. If you believe User Content violates these Terms or the law, you may report it to the organization that operates the relevant Prayer Wall or Front Door, or contact us at info@seekwellministry.com. We may remove User Content or suspend accounts that violate this policy, but we do not monitor User Content in real time and are not responsible for reviewing or acting on it before an organization or Seekwell becomes aware of it.
Support is provided by email at support@seekwellministry.com to organizations with an active, paid subscription. We do our best to respond promptly and helpfully, but we do not guarantee a specific response time or resolution. Organizations in a free trial period, or without an active paid subscription, are not entitled to email support.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for an individual user or an entire organization, at any time and at our sole discretion — including for violation of these Terms, non-payment, misuse of the platform, or conduct we determine to be harmful to Seekwell, other organizations, or their communities.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects. Seekwell runs on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers, and an outage or disruption on their end may affect the availability of the Service — we are not liable for interruptions caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JBC Works LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to lost data, lost donations, missed communications, or reliance on any output of the Service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JBC Works LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your organization's use of the Service, including content submitted through any feature of the Service (such as Prayer Wall, Front Door, or Event Check-In); (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including a misrepresentation of your organization's tax-exempt status. This obligation survives termination of your account.
Seekwell integrates with Stripe for payments and giving, Telegram for church-personnel messaging, and hCaptcha for bot and abuse prevention on the Front Door widget. We also rely on other trusted third-party providers behind the scenes — for functions like account authentication and email delivery — to operate the Service. These integrations are part of how Seekwell works; you do not need to maintain separate accounts with any of these providers to use Seekwell, and we may add, remove, or change service providers at our discretion without updating these Terms.
Your use of Stripe, Telegram, and hCaptcha through Seekwell is also subject to each provider's own terms: see Stripe's Services Agreement, Telegram's Terms of Service, and hCaptcha's Terms of Service. We aren't responsible for those providers' own policies or practices.
The Seekwell name, logo, design, and platform are the property of JBC Works LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended. You retain ownership of the content and data your organization submits to the platform. To operate, support, and improve Seekwell — including refining the technology behind Front Door — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to access, use, and analyze that data. We do not sell this data; any use for analytics, support, or product improvement is handled consistent with our Privacy Policy.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@seekwellministry.com that includes: (1) a description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed; (2) a description and location (URL or organization name) of the allegedly infringing material; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you're authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. We will review valid notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material.
The features and functionality of the Service are provided at our discretion and may change over time. We reserve the right to modify, add, suspend, or remove any feature of the Service, or to discontinue the Service altogether, at any time and without prior notice. Because Seekwell depends on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers to deliver the Service, availability is also subject to those providers' own uptime and performance.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
JBC Works LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Texas. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
As a SaaS provider, Seekwell's subscription fees may be subject to state and local sales or use tax. We currently maintain sales tax nexus only in Texas, so this generally applies only to organizations based in Texas: unless a valid exemption is on file, applicable Texas sales tax will be added to your subscription charges.
Many churches and ministries qualify for a Texas sales tax exemption. If your organization believes it qualifies, you may claim the exemption by providing us with one of the following: a completed Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification (Form 01-339), a Texas Comptroller letter verifying your organization's exempt status, or an IRS determination letter recognizing your organization's exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It's your organization's responsibility to provide current, accurate exemption documentation and to notify us if that status ever changes — tax will be charged on your subscription until valid documentation is on file.
Program description. Where an organization enables it, Seekwell may send text messages (SMS) on that organization's behalf for church announcements, shift and volunteer reminders, event check-in alerts, and administrative or account notifications. SMS is a complementary channel that operates alongside Telegram — it does not replace Telegram, and it is rolled out in phases as Seekwell's messaging integrations become active. Some or all SMS functionality may not be available yet.
Consent and opt-in. An Org Admin who enters a person's phone number represents that they have that person's permission to be contacted for church and ministry purposes. Beyond an initial invitation, recipients receive ongoing text messages only after affirmative opt-in — for example, by replying YES to an invitation text or completing an online opt-in prompt. Providing a mobile number for text messaging is always voluntary.
Opt-out and help. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further text messages, and HELP for assistance, or contact support@seekwellministry.com.
Rates and delivery. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on organization activity and recipient preferences. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates — see our Privacy Policy.
