This Privacy Policy describes how JBC Works LLC, doing business as Seekwell Ministry ("we," "us," "our"), handles information collected through the Seekwell platform, including the platform dashboard, the Front Door chat widget, and Prayer Wall. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
Seekwell is designed for Christian church and ministry organizations based in the United States and its territories. Staff and members may access the Service while traveling abroad, but the Service is built and supported for U.S.-based organizations. Each organization account corresponds to a single physical church campus — see our Terms of Service for details on how multi-campus churches should structure their accounts.
Where this Policy describes a specific feature by name — such as the Front Door chat widget or Prayer Wall — that name refers to functionality we currently offer under that branding. If we rename, redesign, or replace a feature, or introduce a new feature that serves a similar purpose and collects similar information, this Policy applies equally to that feature going forward.
We collect information depending on how you interact with Seekwell:
Phone numbers collected through Seekwell are used for account management and verification, Telegram onboarding for church personnel, and — where an organization enables it and the recipient has opted in — SMS text notifications such as announcements, shift reminders, and event check-in alerts. Providing a phone number for text messaging is always optional, and recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your data or your organization's data — ever. As the operator of the Service, Seekwell may access data stored on the platform as needed to operate, support, secure, and improve Seekwell, consistent with this Policy.
Seekwell uses Stripe to process payments and online giving, Telegram to deliver church-personnel messaging and Front Door conversations, and hCaptcha to help prevent bots and abuse on the Front Door widget — hCaptcha's challenge runs directly in a visitor's browser and may receive limited device and browser information as part of that process. We also rely on other trusted third-party providers behind the scenes to support functions like account authentication and hosting/infrastructure for the platform itself. Every provider we use processes or stores data only as necessary to perform its function within Seekwell — your organization does not need to manage separate accounts or configuration with any of them to use the Service, and we may add, remove, or change providers at any time without updating this Policy.
We may share information with these providers as needed to deliver the Service, and with third parties when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Seekwell, our customers, or the public, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not otherwise disclose your data to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
Mobile information and text messaging consent are never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Stripe, Telegram, and hCaptcha each process the data you share with them under their own privacy policies — see Stripe's Privacy Policy, Telegram's Privacy Policy, and hCaptcha's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review them, as Seekwell does not control how these providers handle data outside of what we send them.
The Front Door widget allows website visitors to chat with church personnel without creating an account. Messages are classified to route the conversation to the right team or person, and conversations are handled by your organization's staff or volunteers, typically via Telegram. Conversation records are controlled by the organization that embedded the widget — visitors should direct any privacy questions about a specific conversation to that organization.
Front Door conversation data also helps us continually improve how Seekwell classifies and routes messages. We may use this data — including in de-identified or aggregate form — to train and refine the technology behind Front Door and to guide future product development.
Prayer Wall allows people within your organization — and, if your organization enables guest submissions, website visitors — to submit prayer requests that are visible to other people within that organization. Prayer request content is entered voluntarily and may include sensitive personal details the submitter chooses to share, such as health, family, or personal circumstances.
Prayer Wall content is controlled by the organization that operates it: Org Admins and authorized staff or members can moderate, restore, anonymize, or permanently delete submissions using tools provided in the platform dashboard. Seekwell does not actively monitor Prayer Wall content and is not able to respond in real time to a submission suggesting a person may be in crisis or at risk of harm — that responsibility rests with the organization.
We retain organization, people, conversation, and Prayer Wall data for as long as the organization's account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Org Admins and authorized users can delete individual Prayer Wall submissions and remove people records directly within the platform dashboard at any time. Organizations can request deletion of their broader account data as described in Section 10 below.
Billing records, subscription payment history, donation records, and any tax-exemption documentation your organization provides are kept for as long as required under applicable tax and accounting recordkeeping laws — generally several years — even after an account is closed or a deletion request is made.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information within the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
As the operator of the Service, authorized Seekwell personnel may access data stored on the platform when necessary — for example, to provide support, investigate an issue, or maintain the security and integrity of the Service. We limit this access to what is reasonably necessary and hold our team to the same standard of care described above.
If we become aware of a security incident that compromises your organization's data, we will notify your Org Admin without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law, and will share information reasonably available to us about the incident and the steps we're taking in response.
The Seekwell platform dashboard is intended for use by adults acting on behalf of a church or ministry organization, and we do not knowingly collect platform login credentials from children under 13. Front Door and Prayer Wall are public-facing features that may be used by website visitors, including minors, without creating an account; organizations are responsible for supervising minors' use of these features consistent with their own child-safety policies.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information through the platform dashboard, contact us at info@seekwellministry.com and we will work with the organization to remove it.
Org Admins can update or remove people records directly within the platform dashboard. To request deletion of your organization's data, or to ask questions about what information we hold, contact us at info@seekwellministry.com.
Because we're legally required to keep certain financial and tax-related records for a set period of time, as described in Section 7 above, a deletion request won't remove billing history, donation records, or exemption documentation before that period has passed — that information is kept solely for legal compliance and isn't used for any other purpose.
The Service is provided "as is," without guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss. See our Terms of Service for details on warranties and limitation of liability.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
